Sound of ruby is a Saudi based band formed in Dammam Saudi Arabia 1996 by AL-HAJJAJ THE CAMEL along with Nader Alfassam & Kamal k

It's probably the first Saudi rock band & helped bring the Saudi rock scene to life by organizing local gigs with other bands to support the local scene

The main style & music influence comes from
Saudi culture, psychedelic rock, punk rock, avent guard, & surrealism

their first official release with an indie label in France which was a 7 inch in 2010 & gained further media attention for being the first Arab rock band playing punk music
The band also recorded 4 songs with Dr. Scum from the mentors .

In 2014 the band got together again & recorded a new album
The bands entire career was a challenging & dangerous journey because of the non accepting culture of Arabia despite that the band was able to gain many followers it has been a big sacrifice & a true punk journey.
